Salem started her career as a blogger to inspire black and curly girls since she had no one to relate to in the Swedish beauty and fashion industry growing up. She became the first black person to blog at Elle and is now working as a content creator and model for brands such as Valentino, Micheal Kors and Isadora to name a few.
